Model railroads

Today is Father's Day and my dad has always been deeply into railroads and model railroads...so I thought I'd combine the two for him.


This is an N-gauge engine, which if you know anything about model railroads should tell you a little bit about how I got this shot...


Not a dangerous shot, by the way...there are only two slow-moving trains a day and usually none on Sundays...

Unfortunately it did involve slightly deceiving three lovely old genteel ladies at the antique shop, because I couldn't exactly tell them that I had no intention whatsoever of buying their train...I just wanted to photograph it...
