spotted lily...

...i did

i spotted this lily - i believe it's a kind of tiger lily but i've never seen one in this shade of red before. usually around here they are traditionally orange... so when i saw this one - i skipped on over to it... figuratively, not literally... 'cuz i really can't remember the last time i actually "skipped." but i was skipping in my head thinking surely that is not a tiger lily... but it is, isn't it? boo! what a sight for sore eyes...

and tucked in with it? why the prettiest little pink flowers - also lily's but day lily's maybe... but i don't know the difference between a day lily and a tiger lily so i'm just gonna call 'em flowers... but they were pink as pink can be. and pink is one of my most favorite colors so i might just have to go back tomorrow... yay! or the next day... or the next day... or the next...
