Clashnessie

Thankfully the rain was all away today and it has been lovely sunshine and quite warm too. Suncream was required, what a change from yesterday!

We've had a busy day. We headed along the 'wee mad road' to Lochinver. On the way there we stopped at the Achins book shop and coffee shop next to the falls of Kirkaig. Kerrsdaddy and Kerr both bought a book, then we all enjoyed cake and refreshments. Kerr was very proud to have a glass of milk in a big boy's cup via a straw and miraculously did not spill a drop.

Lochinver had a swing park which Kerr spotted right away. We ended up playing there for over an hour in the sunshine.

We then carried on along the road to Clashnessie beach. We were the only ones on the beach which was fab. We all had a paddle today and spent a good while relaxing and building sand castles. Clashnessie was also blipped last year.
