Local History

It was our Village Open Day today and my wife and I have worked on a Local History Exhibition and a Guided Tour.

Both went off well. We got about 30 people on 2 sessions of the Guided Tour around the Palace site of the Archbishops of York. Also, the exhibition was well attended with the most popular feature being the two albums of old school photographs from the end of the 1800s onwards (with as many names appended as has been possible).

It is time to relax and return to the present.
