Geise Distillery
I missed posting a blip yesterday as I discovered that I had left my card reader in Inverness and had no other way of downloading my blips. Today's blip is taken with my iphone so quality is a bit dodgy! It shows the old ruins of the distillery at Geise farm that date back to 1851. There is an amazing series of walking paths that have been developed in a beautiful little valley in the farmland and this old ruin is accessible for viewing. It has several interesting boxes visible near the bottom of the wall that look like they are for bats and birds.
I have had a lovely lazy day trying to assimilate all the information given to me during the last few days of induction for my new job. It is all very exciting and the only bit of the jigsaw still to fall into place is renting my house out and renting another one in Inverness. i am still working on that as most houses are for immediate rent and I don't want to move in until beginning of August.
Just another case in my life of stepping out into the dark and waiting for the light to be shone onto my path!
