unusual visitor to our garden

This morning we had a visit from a Hoopoe bird in our garden - he stayed for over an hour picking up the grubs from the grass and only flew away when we had to go out. We were very reluctant to frighten him away and feel very privileged to have such a rare bird spend so much time with us. We hope he will return.
