A fathers day gift of a DVD together with toast, ice cold grapefruit juice and a mug of tea brought to me in bed set the tone for a lovely day.
A planned trip out to Lightwater Valley was abandoned just as we arrived due to the relentless rain (fortunately we hadn't yet paid to go in) so we all went swimming, then for coffee and cake in town before coming back home to watch a film and take some photos of a poppy.

Downloading some Marcia Griffiths to listen to later. I'm so jealous that mobilevirgin got to see her live yesterday.
