Self portrait

Today I returned from a month staying with my father & his wife in Spain, recovering from a period of long & unpleasant illness that is unfortunately still with me. The time in Spain has been a good time for me to work on healing my physical body. I have lost a lot of weight, done a lot of swimming, walking & even jogging. Up at first light, I built myself a regular routine I am loathe to leave behind. I will also miss dad and Carol who have been endlessly kind and patient & there for me. I will post a number of the shots I took whilst I was away as backblips. I did not keep a record of when they were taken so I cannot promise my dates will be accurate. I have been taking a lot of self portraits because my life has had a very inward focus for a while.
It is strange and sad to be home again.
