Yellow Iris

Sadly this is not from our own garden but from Dippoolbank Cottage in Lanarkshire which we visited today as part of the Scottish Garden Scheme. I did rather question our sanity as it was tipping down with rain when we left home and also when we returned. In between it was occasionally dry but very slippery in the garden. But the picture of this gorgeous iris made the visit worth while as did the cake and scones aa well as the tombola!
