7:01

Bad night sleep, in fact not much sleep. Got up before 6 fed Juno and headed out for a walk. On top of the hill a middleaged couple were cuddling at the view plinth, tried to leave them alone but Juno had other ideas. Lovely happy people.

Sadly further on a tent in the gorse with beer bottles and cans lying all over the place and a smouldering fire with living branchss. The voices coming out of it I recognise from the school.

It was dry and at 7:01 the rain started, and it certainly rained.

The girls had a Scottish Cup tie today, I headed to the allotment to get a tarpaulin so I could make a dug out by the pitch.

Pitch set up, dug out created. In the warm up I could see that some of the players where not up for it. it was a great game with both teams playing skillful football, the purples lacking in the hunger for the ball that their opponents had by the bucket. So we lost without troubling their net but the purple coaches were deligted with the way we played. It is great to play in a game when both sets of players and coaches just focus on playimng football and are civilised. The girls liked the dug out.

Back home and housework and the wood burning stove on I was cold and wet.

Eco son is away wild camping up north, should be interesting.

It is Eco daughter's last night for the school performance this year, it will be emotional as the s6 will say their goodbyes and the headmaster leaves with some of long standing members of staff.

I am away to bed for some sleep.
