The day Albie got lost

Another lazy, sleepy morning. Then up and out for a walk with JL at the beach.

Lots of stick throwing and general high jinx. With three Vizslas in tow, that's just to be expected.

We had a lovely, wind-swept walk. Then the weather started to turn and so did we, back towards the car.

Only, where was Albie?

Almost an hour and half of cold searching later and still no sign.

Had he been swept out to sea?
Had he been found by someone and taken to the pound?
Had he hurt himself?

No, he had found something under a bush and had been happily ignoring our calls.

Eventually, a lovely lady found him, picked him up and waited until I had run up the dune to them before letting him down.

Of course, you can't shout. You can't be grumpy. You have to gently fix the lead on his collar and gently lead him away. Doesn't mean we felt like talking to him or looking at him though! He's well and truly in the dog house with JL. He's got some serious making up to do.

He'll be on the lead for the next wee while.

This is an action shot of JL stick throwing for the dogs. I am not sure which Vizsla is in the picture.

Before the weather turned nasty.

Before Albie got lost.

All home and warm now. I'm off into town to go to church.

Please God, don't let the earth shake while I'm in there.

Night all.
