Black Phoebe

This was shot at Crown Beach in Alameda. The main reason for us being there was the bus tour to the least tern nesting site. The trip was fascinating, but the terns were too far away for my lenses, and the chicks blend in very well with the background. Here's a sample shot, but otherwise, the phoebe was my best shot.
