gutted too

The little fella often wakes 4-5am just to see if me and has mam are still there and not left him, once he realizes this hes off back to sleep until 9am.
I've identified a perfect opportunity to stay up and go mountain biking on weekends when this happens.
Mountain biking was my life in 05 to 08, but i've only been on the fringes of it for the last two years and fitness and skill have all but dissappeared, however enthusiasm is ever increasing.

So this was the plan..
But someone had different ideas and decided to wake 1:30am and resist going back to sleep for some time!
Despite me even getting an early night the interuption in the golden period of sleep time ment i slept in and missed the opportunity. ;o(

They are funny how they can scupper the best laid plans even when based around their routine.
