Lake Bodom
Rainy day at Lake Bodom, Espoo, Finland.
This photo was taken a few meters from the site of Finland's most infamous murder case. In June 1960, four teenagers camped on a small cape at the lake. During the night they were attacked and three of them lost their lives. One was injured, but survived.
The case remained a mystery in Finnish newspapers and popular culture for 44 years, until in 2004 the surviving camper was arrested and charged with triple homicide. However, the evidence was not enough to convict him and he was acquitted.
