I thought I would try out my ipad2 for today's blip!

Pouring with rain all day! I had hoped to mow the lawn...

Yesterday's blip of Allonby Reading Room sparked some interest. It was built by Quakers in 1862 so that the people of Allonby would have books and newspapers to read to improve themselves. It closed in the 1970s and then became more and more derelict. Finally a new owner has restored it!
