Little Miami River

Friday
I discovered a new photo viewpoint of the Little Miami today. We regularly bike on the Little Miami trail, and our closest trailhead is in the adjoining suburb of Loveland. Alongside the trail at that point is a small park, Nisbet Park, As I parked the car today I noticed a trail apparently disappearing into the trees at the back, which I've never noticed before, so I decided to check it out, and discovered it leads through the trees to the riverside, at the point where O'Bannon Creek flows into the Little Miami. It was a hot humid afternoon and there were a couple of families with children playing in the water. From there I continued on to the "Y" and went swimming in the outside pool. The water was considerably cooler than last week, since we've had a couple of coolish nights this week. Laura was going straight from work up to Oxford for at least the first part of the weekend, so it was just Roger and I for dinner, and we went out to a pizza place in Montgomery we hadn't been to in years.
