hark back
When Edgar had his first bottleworth of antibiotic a few weeks back the instant the bottle was opened the smell reminded me of something, presumably something also medicine-based from when I was small though I can't remember what. Presumably child-medicines have been artificially sweetened with the same substances for at least thirty-four years. The distinctive yellowyness was similarly familiar, though nowhere near as much as the smell.
