Whit Walks

It was the Whit Walks and Band contest today in Mossley. It's a bit of a Northern Town tradition - think ' Brassed Off' Wiki can explain it better than me!

The girls walked with school for the first time - they looked so happy as they passed - but not as chuffed as I was, proper lump in the throat moment and they were really pleased to know I was there watching.

Eldest has gone to watch the band contest and drink lots of beer!

Strange week is coming to an end, some things working out well and some not so good. And a few disapointments - a couple of nice texts have been received and some not so nice.

But - onwards and upwards my friends. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
