Down the Drain
When I look back, I see an awful lot of our money being wasted.
Selling our family heirlooms at rock bottom prices (the gold stockpile) was a bad decision.
We are legally tied into pumping money we don't have into Europe & other countries, whether we like it or not, thanks, in part, to some frantic signing away of our rights before the last election.
Britain, as a country, doesn't have a lot of say fiscally any more. We're throwing good money after bad into Europe, certain in the knowledge we won't get it back. In the meantime our services are being stripped down to the bone, taxes hiked and we seem to have more mouths to feed, and people to be made healthy, than are supposedly actually living on this group of small islands. Even so, we are expected to take in even more as the 'Eurozone' keeps expanding eastwards.
Some time soon I expect that where these islands used to be, will be water, a few bubbles & some deckchairs. Somewhere below the waves will be Westminster - hopefully someone will have walled the Politicians in before the country sank...
