late sun through the door

waved cb1 off on her school trip. she was very excited and went off without a backward glance. i left before the coaches so avoided the chance to cry

cycled to school, to new work, to old work for a course, to see the teenage boys who managed to put an obscene message on my back when i wasnt looking (luckily funny obscene, not gross), back to new work, to physio, to school and home again.

thought i was in for a relaxing time with just one child when we got invited for a swim followed by footie followed a nice meal, all of which rendered me too tired to speak french on the phone so i spoke english instead and made plans to go to paris.
