Meanwhile, at the coast..

Doing the continental.......

.....breakfast option after being woken at silly o'clock by yowling cats wanting to go out to terrorise the local birdies.....

So what you can't see is the mug of steaming 'builders-strength' tea (that would be a bit off to the right) and a cat about to lick the butter (round about top centre and closing fast)......but, and call me a romantic, I still believe some things should remain hidden........

FYI.....
The seedy bread and the eggs were from the UK
The tomatoes were from Holland
The butter was from Denmark
The rye bread and the 'Bavarian' Ham were from Germany
The salami was from Italy
The jam and the cheese were from France
The gherkins were from Turkey
......I dread to think how many 'food miles' were sitting on that plate......note the past tense....I'm afraid I swallowed my (home-grown) guilt along with the nosh.....

Rest assured I dressed for the occasion......I have to say, the trailing chiffon scarf caused a few problems with the gherkins and the peach and raspberry jam.......I won't go into the unsavoury details.......

I probably won't do lunch.....

Fred and Ginger strut their continental stuff....

TFIF.....Oh yes, I still do weekends!
