Great crested grebe - at Yarrow Country Park

I went out on one of the summer photo walks with members of the photographic club this evening. These walks are going to take place every other Thursday. It was a fairly pleasant evening but the light wasn't good for landscape shots.

I have been trying to photograph a grebe for 3 years and, although this is a bit naff, I think it is the best shot yet. Not easy with a 250 lens - the bird doesn't like to come too close.
