Puddles

Miss Pink does love a good puddle! Especially deep puddles that she can wade through. And today the weather has been perfect puddle making weather!

the day started sunny and bright, but by eleven when I went into school to do assembly, the heavens had opened.

It continued to have big heavy showers on and off the day, so by the afternoon and school pick up time I thought I'd just embrace it, and we'd "welly up" for the school run! Master pink's forest school had been cancelled as it was just too wet to go ahead with it, so they'd stayed in the classroom. What it did mean though was that his wellies were already at school.

So all three of us tried to find puddles to splash in on the way home. I think the prize for the muddiest puddle splash went to Master Pink who found one that resembled a small swamp!!
