One more day

One more day and then the daycare life is over for ever for our six year old! In Finland, unlike in most other countries I know, the kids start the school the year they turn seven.

She is already a fluent reader both in Finnish and in English but some practical skills could be of use, too. So her dad told her that before the school starts in August it would be good if she'd learn to do the shoe laces. I don't think she even has any shoes with laces but nevertheless, here she is, practicing!

And yay, one more day for me, too, and then its time for a couple of weeks vacation!

It's too late again, I see... good night!
