STAND AND DELIVER

This part of the new stand that is getting put into the castle.This is for the tattoo
in august.It was started in 1950.Now its so big its very hard for the locals to get a ticket.It is brodcast to 100 million through the world.IT is not part of the festival
but its on at the same time.The new stand will hold 8,700 per night.This piece of
the stand weighs 17 ton.It is taken down after three weeks and stored for next year.
Behind the small hole to the right is GEORGE HERIOTS.It was a built in 1659 as a hospital.In 1837 it changed into a scool. Now private.At the other end of the steel is
the EDINBURGH university ,including theMcEWAN HALL [the dome].This is the place
the students have graduating.
