The Stowell Spire

This sign is the only thing left of The Stowell Spire Pub in Salford pulled down a couple of years ago. From erection to demolition it lasted about 15 years and I did call in a few times but never really cared for it.

The "Lion Rampant", I'll say he was livid when they pulled The Spire down.

This sign cunningly gets another animal in for this weeks theme. Blatant cheating possibly but the frog in my garden I was planning to use has gone into hiding.
