salford Quays
I snapped this through a gap in the hoarding that has gone up along the Waterside road. In the foreground is probably one of the last little bits of Salford docks that remains, and this will soon be gone with more development planned.
This is where the boats used to come in after coming across from Liverpool on the Ship canal. It once was the hub of industry that built the city.
Being round this area always makes me think of the great film "A taste of honey" where quite a bit of it was shot.
