Public Path?

Well, that was a disappointment. Inspired by yesterday's comments to go off and explore somewhere new this morning, I scoured the OS map for a path I hadn't explored.

Found this one, and off I went. It started nicely enough, a meandering path through sheep fields and a tunnel of gorse. After half a mile, it became a minor road, so I put Nevis back on the lead (briefly off after the sheep). After another half a mile, it became a busy B road - still two miles from the destination. So we turned back.

Not my idea of a 'path' - and not Nevis' either, as he was lead-bound for almost the whole trip.

Did spot somewhere else to explore though, so maybe next time.
