Earth, Wind, Water

Went for a long walk along Joaquina beach while my bf had a surf class today. Took lots of pictures that I love (grrr wish I could backblip them on the days I didn't take any pics!) but spent a long time here at this tree. There was a strong drift here and the undertow would have easily dragged a person out into the deeper water.

Took me ages to capture a moment when a bigger wave hit the tree, to get the splash, but I did it! Whoo!

We stayed at the beach late on top of the dunes trying to see the lunar eclipse - by the time we worked out where we could see the moon, it was half done. No good photos, just little white dot in the sky, which is why it isn't blipped.
