Pukeko #3

I've not even been blipping a year and I find myself constantly repeating subject matter. I clearly don't have a wide enough imagination.

Anyway, I went for a drive around the 2 mile again tonight although I thought my chances of a blip were slim as it was almost dusk when I left work and I didn't really expect to see any wildlife out and about still.

Fortunately I found 3 pukekos scratching about on the side of the road - though only one of them was obliging enough to stick around and have his photo taken. They're such comical birds with their red beak/mask and their great gangly feet.
