Can We Build It, Yeah
Today was spent on a Global Outreach project at a very special school for severely physically and mentally handicapped children in North Edinburgh.
This task was to help complete a 'green' greenhouse which some of my colleagues started a couple of weeks ago. The first stage was the structure, timber frame, concreted into the ground etc. Todays session involved constructing the walls from plastic 2 litre bottles, stacked on top of each other. I worked on the inside of it today and although the walls were incomplete it was absolutely roasting in there,. If I had a big garden with somewhere you could tuck one of these structures, I'd have one.
This fella is Richard, the brains and brawn behind the design and build.
