Uncle Geoffs Cafe

Here is my friend Alex looking slightly bemused at all there is to behold inside Uncle Geoffs Cafe in Over Haddon.
It's an incredible cafe, which appears to be housed inside a garage attached to his house, I've never seen anything like it before.
I took someone else there a few years ago and she described it as 'Beyond Mad'.
Uncle Geoff is deaf and he gives you a piece of paper which you write your order on. He then returns it to you when you are ready to leave with your bill added to it. A quite brilliant system!
The meals at Uncle Geoffs are very reasonably priced. I include a few examples below.
Breaded Sole, Chips and Peas - £3.40
Pot of Tea - £1.00
Rombouts Coffee - £1.05
Banana Omelette - £3.40!!!!
Among an amazing array of paraphernalia on the walls, there is also a stuffed cat in the cold counter!
If you're ever in the Over Haddon area at lunchtime it's well worth a visit for a once in a lifetime experience.
