The countdown has been on for some considerable ti

Not that we long for pottering about on sandy beaches, the sea and sand gently removing the dead skin from our feet but almost. This is the official countdown wall installation which the girls have been maintaining for 24 days already.

Historically, for reasons of excessive stress and a busy programme, Wednesday's have become my least favourite day of the week, unlike our eldest, for whom Wednesday = violin + computing + Maths + art + library + club night with local friends = the best day ever. Mine is more like

Wednesday = rushing + trying to feed hungry children + trying to finish homework with girls wishing to attend aforementioned club night + long day at work = bad day, evil evil bad day.

Somehow today Wednesday = long day at work + finding some gifts for friends in France + no hassle homework and feeding duties + nice weather = superb day

So not a major need today for holidays just yet, simply a reminder that it is not far off.

And I listened to this classic French rap tune, so many times, I will need to watch the video by Michel Gondry, a modern classic.
