Tawny Owl Chick by Father-in-Law

Busy, busy, busy all day long today and having to go out to a PTA meeting at school this evening! As such no photos taken all day.... well not by me anyway. But as luck would have it my father-in-law sent me this photo this morning of a tawny owl chick.

Apparently it's one of three which are living in one of the trees in their garden. Pretty cute really.... however he also sent me a photo of a dismembered woodpecker which he guesses is the remains of their last meal! Decided not to post that photo!!
