Singapore

Flew from Amsterdam to Singapore yesterday, stayed in a hotel for the night and joined the Husky early in this morning on Singapore anchorage. It was years and years ago since my last visit of this amazing city. It has changed so much that I hardly recognized it anymore. The first time I was in Singapore you had to go to Clifford Pier for a launch to your vessel on the anchorage. If you are standing on the same spot now, you will see no water, only reclaimed land. In the neighbourhood THIS hotel/casino was completed last year being the most expensive hotel in the world. The roof is something special, it has a large shipshaped terrace (200 meters high) devided over all three towers. You like it? For myself I am not so sure.
