Oh, crop!

The Morning Dew

I woke before the sun
When the earth was still damp
from morning dew.
The sky was still dark,
And the air was cool and crisp.

I walked slowly,
Engraving every sound and every detail
into my mind.

I inhaled the fresh breeze
As it caressed my skin,
Forming goosebumps all over my arms.

I walked a little faster,
Letting the dew sprinkle my feet,
Sending shivers up my spine.

I looked around me,
Grazing the world with my hungry eyes.
The trees stood tall,
Looking strong and majestic.
The flowers swayed gently,
From one side to the other
And the grass glistened,
With morning dew.
