A day (& evening) in York

Today the weather was really lovely, the best day of the week according to the weather man! My daughter arrived and we sped off to York for some retail therapy. Then we went for a nice meal and I had booked tickets at the Theatre Royal as a bit of a birthday treat. The play was 'My Family and Other Animals', based on the books by Gerald Durrell which I enjoyed reading many years ago. The whole day was a great successs. Now it is late and we are rushing to get our blips in before the computer turns into a pumpkin!
