A Giant Funghi ... but not as we know it!

Having a wander at lunch time which is really a novelty due to the recent weather. On the way back to the office ... I saw this and thought ooo giant funghi ... after thinking oooo, I was taken back to a scene from Toy Story 2 ... the little aliens saying oooo the claw is our master ... and wondered as I blipped. Who is master here? Nature or technology?
