Lines!

I had no idea this was still done in school to be fair, but bless my little lads face. He came home from school full of righteous indignation of how very dare they make him write this, how very dare they make him miss his playtime and what was I going to do about it?? Proper quivering chin and everything.
So I bent down, looked him squarely in the face and said, well my darling, I'm going to blip it and tomorrow you won't forget your book will you!
Oh he was unimpressed I tell you! However after reminding him on a daily basis for the last week to pick up his book only to be met with a nonchalent shrug as he walked out of the door I think this was a well deserved reminder that sometimes we take responsibility for our own actions and if we don't there will be a consequence. Your mum blipping your indignation for one of them ;o)
