New for old

I wonder how much money we will spend on trainers in their lifetime.

It takes approximately 2 weeks for a new pair to look worn in, 4 weeks to look very dirty, 6 weeks to look unpresentable, 8 weeks to look really worn, 10 weeks to look horrendous and 12 weeks for the soles to fall off.

We never wore trainers as kids. What did we wear?

Whatever it was I'm sure it had a longer life expectancy than three months.

Kids today eh.

In other news, for some odd reason my second son has developed some kind of bad-boy London accent. Very odd.
