Flower child

Always will be, always have been a flower child...in more ways than one...

I love getting flowers. The bouquet of flowers I am holding is a gift from Marcos one of my students. Today being the last day of school I was showered with gifts, kind words, and lots of hugs and kisses. My PreK students are now ready for the next chapter in their little lives. I have set them free today and gave them their wings. Off to kindergarten they go. I am so grateful for the year we had together and look forward to meeting my new students in September.

But for now it's all about me time. Time to be with family and friends, time for reading, time to be creative, time to be spiritual, and just time for being. No schedule, no alarm clocks, so cool.
