What was it that killed the cat..?

Curiosity.

I whiled away some happy minutes time (!) in the garden today, before almost knocking myself out on a hefty crock bird feeder which was lurking in a tree. I was engrossed, focussing on a hoverfly in a little ray of sunshine, my camera aloft.
I thought 'I'll just change the setting and move forward slightly...'

And crump! Stars!

Pebble-dashing the fence with the bird seed from my hair (which some might say is a bit of a bird's nest anyway) I made an acceptable capture of said hoverfly.
Hovering.
In said sunshine!
Result!

However, outside the back door was a blur which was the above. It was a frisky little thing and this was the best shot I could muster before it flew off.
After yesterday, I'm expecting it to be some kind of pest/vermin which only inhabits the homes of tramps and layabouts (!). But I've checked websites and can't find it.
So, because it's a curiosity to me. Here it is.
