When I'm cleaning windows!

When John retired from the bank last October we wondered how we he would fill his time. We need not have worried.

Since then we have had a holiday in NZ, a few days up North, Fiona moved flats and Ali and Phil moved from a flat to a house with garden. Then the best bit of all...Euan arrived! With all these comings and goings life has never been busier. When did John get time to go to work?

Today the morning was spent waiting in on the gas engineer and the washing machine engineer. Then we had coffee with friends in the back garden...yes, can you believe it? Dry and sunny.

After that we set off to Ali's. John was doing a few odds and ends there while Ali filled hanging baskets.I took Euan for a walk to get him off to sleep while we continued with the plants.

This afternoon we went over to Fiona's to clean her windows inside and out. She had asked very nicely if we would!

All in all a busy day but we would not have it any other way. It is good to keep busy and to help the family in any way we can. We are lucky to have them.
Now it is Rona's turn after dinner. She had to have a very early walk this morning so you choose Rona and we will follow!
