A Day to Explore

We were treated to a most wonderful surprise yesterday...after saying goodbye to our youngest daughter and son-in-law, she shocked me by getting into the car with us for the trek back to Portland. She just finished classes at the University for the year and has a few days off before she heads back to start her summer job. So glad that all of us will be together for dinner tomorrow night...definitely a blip!

Today we spent the day exploring the downtown area...and these flowers from the Rose Festival just added to the beauty of the day.
