Moonrise from Lake Padden
I thought I'd have plenty of time for a blip today, but it didn't work out that way.
Since it was raining when I left the house to play pickleball, I assumed everybody would be playing indoors. I was wrong. My masochistic friends were playing at Cornwall Park in the rain. I'm just as daft -- I joined them.
After lunch I put a coat of water sealant on C's bench, chatted with Mr. Mole, had a prolonged discussion with the Greyhound bus company to help them improve their service, and went to look at a sale of used woodworking tools. I bought a plane that looks like a big brother to the one I blipped a long time ago, and a power bench planer.
When I got home it was time for a late dinner and I didn't have my blip. C suggested that I take Miss Annie down to Lake Padden after we'd eaten. Although the light was golden when I got there it didn't last very long, and I only got one decent photo of a back-lit duck and her ducklings. I decided the moon would be a more interesting subject, but wished I'd had my tripod.
