Sapling

My dad replanted this tree about 20 years ago when it was a sapling. As a matter of fact my dad was telling me that when he replanted it there was a flat top on it and then he asked me if I remembered being younger and seeing the Christmas lights on this tree. I remember the lights but I don't remember the flat top. These days the tree is much to tall for lights.

Anyways this tree reminded me of something that happened at work tonight. I went out to the lobby because there was a bunch of noise and when I went out there some kid was picking on another kid about being short. The poor kid getting picked on was all upset and the only thing I could think to do was tell him that he was just right to get into places that I couldn't because I'm taller and that I was just right to get into the places that he couldn't get into and that without each other we wouldn't be able to do all kinds of things.

After that I went over to the other kid and said he maybe the size he is but your being mean and you shouldn't pick on people so leave him alone. This is also the same kid that had mouthed off to me earlier in the day and been told that messing with the stage manager was not a good idea because the director will find out and then you wouldn't be allowed to come back next year. Maybe he got the message the second time I got after him.

Thank goodness I was there to fix the issue it may have turned into a fight had I not come out.

The weather has been beautiful all day... I think... I've been in side all day so I couldn't be 100% sure about that.

I worked 10a.m. to 9p.m. today and I have to do the same for the next two or three day's. Then I work nights the rest of the week and off on Sunday!
