lyme regis

Arrived in Exeter last night and made our way to Axminster this morning for breakfast at the River Cottage Canteen. Had to do a little 'whoop' as I spied it for the first time - have been wanting to visit for AGES, so got a bit over-excited upon seeing the place for the first time :)

Arrived at our gorgeous wee B&B in the middle of nowhere and the owner dropped us off in Lyme Regis for the afternoon.

Beautiful town, friendly people and good food. We saw lots, including the famous Cobb which features in Jane Austen's 'Persuasion' and is in the film 'The French Lieutenant's Woman'.

Back to Musbery for our tea in the local pub before a well-earned kip!
