Last day and a trip to Rothbury for a walk up Simonside then the afternoon at Cragside ancestral pile of Lord Armstrong Engineering genius. He filled his house full of his hydraulic powered gizmos to impress his foreign guests then would sell them his latest battleship or big gun made at his works and shipyards in Newcastle. Great bit of Victorian marketing.
