The Poppy Field Revisited

I took my significant other to hospital today, for more tests following the overnight stay of last week. We stopped on the way home to admire the glory of the poppies. Not quite as resplendent as last week; fading a bit but only in volume - plenty of new blooms still emerging to enjoy. A bit like us two - not quite the full bloom of youth, but still red blood in the arteries and can put on decent show now and again.
