St Abbs Head

Bank holiday but not in Scotland so we head up north to St Abbs for the seabirds on the cliffs that give rise to a smelly, noisy spectacle. the Thrift this time has been just stunning with the whole hillside turned barbie pink. Met a group of Dutch walkers who insisted on climbing every hillock to gesticulate at the view. When iI got chatting to them I did mention their necessary expenditure of energy and the reply was 'we have to make the most because we have no hills not even small ones'
